A remote village enters its darkest hour. For months, livestock, supplies, and even townsfolk have been vanishing into the cold dark of the woods. The remaining authorities have issued a desperate plea to any freelancers, adventurers, or mercenaries from surrounding regions willing to lend a blade or spell. Will the gathered heroes be enough to deliver the town to safety, or will they too become lost in the Dead of Winter?
